How to Get the Most Out of Your Mentoring Sessions

Working with the Dream Team is one of the most valuable ways to accelerate your growth, overcome roadblocks, and gain clarity on your next best step. Whether you're in the Prepare, Launch, or Grow phase, these sessions are designed to give you personalized, outcome-focused support.

This article walks you through how to prepare, book, and manage your Mentoring sessions effectively—so you get the most from every minute.

🔍 What Are Mentoring Sessions For?

Mentoring sessions are 1:1 strategy calls with experienced business coaches from the Dream Team. These calls are focused on:

  • Clarifying your niche, offer, or avatar

  • Getting unstuck on a specific step of the Mission Map

  • Refining your brand or funnel strategy

  • Getting feedback on content, messaging, or positioning

  • Planning next steps for aligned business growth

❗Note: Not all membership levels include Mentoring sessions. Check your membership plan or contact support if you're unsure what’s included.

📍Where to View & Track Your Sessions

To see how many Mentoring sessions you’ve used or have remaining:

  1. Log in to your Launch You account

  2. Click the “Accelerate” tab from the app switcher (nine dots at the top right)

  3. Navigate to the “Mentors” section

  4. You’ll see your session breakdown:

    • Available

    • Upcoming

    • Complete

If no sessions appear, your plan may not include Mentoring, or you may be viewing the wrong section (Implementation sessions are tracked separately).

📅 How to Book a Mentoring Session

To book a session:

  1. Browse available mentors by expertise

  2. Click “Book now” on the profile that aligns with your current need

  3. Choose an available time slot and confirm your booking

📌 Tip: Use the Coach Selection Guide Video (located on the Mentors page) to choose the right coach for your milestone or challenge.

❌ How to Cancel or Reschedule a Session

Need to make a change? You can cancel or reschedule a session through your confirmation email or directly in your booking dashboard, depending on the mentor’s calendar system.

  • Cancellations are typically allowed up to 24 hours before your session

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may result in the session being marked as used

Always check the cancellation terms listed in your booking confirmation to avoid losing the session.

🧠 How to Prepare for Your Session

Make the most of your time with these tips:

  • Come with a clear question or challenge

  • Complete the relevant Mission Map steps beforehand

  • Bring links, drafts, or documents you want feedback on

  • Be ready to share your screen if needed (Zoom)

✅ Tip: Write down your top 1–2 outcomes you want from the session so you stay focused.

⏳ Do Sessions Expire?

Yes. Mentoring sessions must be used within your current contract period. If you renew your membership at the same level, any unused sessions may carry over—but only if stated in your contract.

Sessions do not automatically roll over between unrelated membership levels (e.g., Accelerate → LaunchPack Gold).
